Flood Relief

The floods Queensland are experiencing are completely devastating. I'm heartbroken just seeing these sorts of images in the media. I can't even imagine how the locals are coping. I have several dear friends living up that way and am so, so thankful they are safe and dry.

The handmade community is once again coming together and generously donating their goods and services to raise money in support. Here are just a few of the online auctions and sales going on at the moment.

Ric Rac - To enter Jodie's gorgeous giveaway please make a small donation to the Premiers Flood Relief. Jack and Eddie would love to have some of Jodie's beautiful softies.

That Vintage -  Sophie has generously donated a HEAP of her beautiful jewellery for auction with all proceeds going to the Premiers Flood Relief. At present the tally stands at over $2000. Amazing! I have the winning bid (so far) on this gorgeous necklace.

Yardage Design -  To enter the giveaway to win 9 beautiful fat quarters just give a small donation to the Premiers Flood Relief. If I win I will be able to make many, many gorgeous buttons!

Etsian Australian Flood Appeal -  An Etsy shop has been set up with handmade items which have been donated. All proceeds (less fees) will be donated to the Premiers Flood Relief.

BrisStyle's Handmade Ark Appeal - Members of the BrisStyle Collective are donating gorgeous handmade items from their Etsy shops. All money (less fees) will be donated to the Premiers Flood Relief. I have already snapped up this fantastic brooch but have my eye on several others.

If you can help in any way it would be much appreciated :)

I will have some of my own button jewellery up for sale in the next few days with proceeds going to the Premiers Flood Relief.
